KATHUA, May 4: A speedy truck crushed to death a scooty rider on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway at Lakhanpur near here, today.
The truck was coming from wrong side and it hit the scooty. Police said the speedy truck bearing Registration Number JK 22 B4687 after reaching near Golden Gate Lakhanpur hit a scooty resulting in serious injury to youth. He succumbed to his injuries in GMC Kathua.
The deceased was identified as Samarth Andotra resident of Ward No 12 , Kathua. The Lakhanpur police has registered a case under relevant sections of law and started investigation.
