JAMMU, Sept 18: A motorcycle borne youth was crushed to death by an unknown vehicle here near office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, this evening.
According to a police spokesperson, the youth has been identified as Satish Gupta (25) son of Vijay Gupta and resident of Sanjay Nagar, Jammu.
As there was quite dark, nobody could identify the vehicle, which crushed to death Satish Gupta, he said, adding the dead body has been shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where after conducting post mortem the body would be handed over to its legal heirs.
A case in this regard has been registered at police station Trikuta Nagar and investigations are on.
