MENDHAR, Jan 11: A youth was critically injured after he was hit by a tractor trolley at village Bera in Mendhar tehsil this evening.
The victim has been identified as Mohd Ayaz (30), son of Azgeel Ahmed, resident of Bera. The mishap took place when Ayaz was returning home. He was walking along the road side. He was suddenly hit by a tractor trolley coming from the back side. He was thrown away with the massive push and received multiple fractures and injuries. The victim was rushed to hospital at Mendhar where doctors provided treatment and referred him to District Hospital, Rajouri.
The police reached the spot and seized the tractor and arrested its driver. A case has been registered in this connection.
