JAMMU, Jan 10: J&K Pradesh Youth Congress castigates BJP led government for “playing with the future of youth of Jammu and Kashmir” over the age bar in newly advertised JKAS posts.
Youth Congress president Uday Bhanu Chib criticised the BJP government for “deceiving and playing” with the future of the educated youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a press statement issued, he said, “The age bar of 32 years on JKAS aspirants is a draconian and a barbaric injustice with the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. This government has resolved to rob everything away from the people of our region.
JKPSC advertises such posts after an interval of years together. The reduction in the age bar at such circumstances makes no sense at all. These posts are not advertised regularly like UPSC, he added.
He said primarily the rise of unemployment and now the age bar for the Civil Service candidates have irked the educated youth since they have been pushed to official apathy.
JKPYC spokesperson said that the government should immediately re-advertise the posts with adequate age relaxation as was given to the educated youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
He threatened that if the UT Govt will not resolve the issue pertaining to the career of tens of thousands of educated youth of J&K; Youth Congress will come on roads & protest against the dictatorial decision of Govt.
