JAMMU, Nov 11: A young man allegedly committed suicide in Peer Mitha area of Jammu while the dead body of an unknown man was recovered from Akhnoor area of City outskirts.
“A 20-year-old youth namely Sahil son of Arshad Massi, resident of Shahidi Chowk, allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence. He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he expired this evening,” police sources said.
Meanwhile, sources said, the dead body of an unknown man of age about 60 years was found in unconscious condition at Akhnoor outside Sub-District Hospital. They said the body was shifted to mortuary room of the Hospital for identification/ postmortem.
In both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
