UDHAMPUR, June 19: A youth committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his house in Jakhani, here today.
According to the police, Kuldeep Singh (28), son of Gopal Singh of Jakhani, consumed some poisonous substance in his house this evening. The family members noticed him in serious condition and vomiting. They rushed him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Cause behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Udhampur Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
