RAMBAN, Apr 28: The local youth of Seri Kella Morh led by Advocate Arun Singh submitted an application to Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) seeking directions to HCC for engaging them for the work of four lane of NH-1A at Seri Kella Morh.
In the application, the youth mentioned that they belong to poor families and know work in different trades including driving, welding, plumber work, helpers, electricians, etc.
They stated that the HCC has started work for the four laning of national highway 1A at Seri Kella Morh and engaged candidates from outside the District Ramban, adding that they requested HCC many times to engage local youth in the work, but no candidate has been engaged till date.
They urged Additional Deputy Commissioner to direct HCC to engage local youth in the four laning work of NH 1-A at Seri Kella Morh.
