JAMMU, June 21: A youth was booked for eve-teasing a girl in Bakshi Nagar area of the winter capital.
As per police sources, a youth identified as Gulzar, son of Bhopinder Singh of Bharado, Pouni-Chack allegedly caught hold of a girl hailing from Pouni-Chack in Bakshi Nagar area and forced her to sit on his motorcycle.
The girl raised alarm and locals rushed to the spot, but accused managed to escape from the spot on his motorcycle.
Later, the girl reported the matter to police station Bakshi Nagar and a case under Section 294 RPC has been registered in this regard and manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
However, the accused was at large when last reports compiled.
