JAMMU, Jan 22: A youth allegedly tried to end his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Purana Pind area, falling under the jurisdiction of RS Pura police station.
As per reports, 19-year-old Ankush Mehra, son of Subash Chander of Purana Pind, RS Pura allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence.
Finding him unconscious, family members shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where his condition was stated to be out of danger, when last reports came in.
A case has been registered at RS Pura police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
