JAMMU, July 30: A young man was today stabbed by a group of four people with sharp edged weapons in Miran Sahib area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the youth identified as Amit Kumar (25) son of Om Parkash, resident of Gazipur (Kullian) in Miran Sahib area was attacked with sharp edged weapons at Kullian by some miscreants over some dispute. In the attack, the victim received serious injuries on his both arms and hip.
He was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable when the last reports came in.
A case in this connection was registered at police station Miran Sahib and efforts were on to nab the accused, who have been identified as Bachchan Singh, his two sons– Karnail Singh and Jail Singh, and one of their relative, Vikram Singh.
