JAMMU, Oct 25: A youth has been arrested for attacking and injuring a minor boy with sharp edged weapon in Hari Market area here.
As per police sources, a 21-year-old youth identified as Chota Simon of Dogra Hall along with his two associates attacked and injured a minor boy namely Harsh Mehra (17), son of Mohan Lal Mehra, a resident of Shalamar District Jammu with sharp edged weapon in Hari Market area.
The victim was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu from where he was later discharged after first aid.
Meanwhile, locals caught hold the accused Chota Simon and handed over to police, while his two associates managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 69/2021 under Sections 341 and 323 IPC and 4/5 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station City and investigation started.
