JAMMU, Apr 17: The dead body of a young woman was found hanging today at her residence in Kanger area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Gharota.
According to police sources, the deceased woman was identified as 20-year-old Kamlesh Devi wife of Mangal Singh, resident of Kanger (Kot Bhalwal). Sources said the body of the woman was found hanging this evening at her residence.
“The body was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection at Police Station Gharota,” sources added.
As per sources, the woman was married about three years ago and she had no child.
