MENDHAR, Feb 23: A young woman was allegedly raped by two persons in Balnoi area of Mendhar in district Poonch.
Reports said that 22-year-old Nifat Begum (name changed), wife of Iftikhar Khan, resident of Banola was allegedly kidnapped by one Nissar Ahmed, son of Mohd Rafiq, resident of Sakhi Maidan, at present Balnoi and his associate in a Tata Sumo and taken to (Tain-Mankote), last night and raped there. She was later left near Chajjla during wee hours. The woman along with her family members then reported the matter to Mendhar police which registered a case FIR No. 16/2014 and started search for the absconding accused persons.
