REASI, Aug 11: A young woman and her niece attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at their house in Thuroo Sulakh, here today.
The duo was rushed by the family members to PHC Dharmari where doctors referred them to District Hospital Reasi in view of their critical condition.
They were identified as Archana Devi (32), wife of Anchal Singh and her niece Pinky Thakur (18), daughter of Parbhat Singh.
Cause behind the provocation could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
