UDHAMPUR, May 10: Under mysterious circumstances, a young woman was found dead in a roadside ditch near Manthal, here today.
The deceased was identified as 42- year old Poonam Singh, wife of Pawan Dogra of Pakki Dhaki, near PNB Jammu. She was found dead in ditch near Manthal under mysterious circumstances. Some locals spotted the dead body and informed the Police Post Tikri.
Police has registered a case under Section 174 RPC for further investigation. Cause of death has not yet been ascertained.
Meanwhile a man died after he fell from a tree near Birma Pul Udhampur, The deceased was identified as Mohamed Hussan (48), son of Mohd Ramzan of Birma Pul.
