RAJOURI, Dec 14: A woman committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Kotranka area of Rajouri district today.
A police spokesman said one Rimzim Begum (27), wife of Mohd Shafiq, resident of Kotranka consumed some poisonous stuff at her residence last evening after a tiff with husband. She was rushed to Rajouri hospital and later referred to GMC hospital Jammu. As her condition deteriorated, she died in hospital here early today. The police handed over the body of the deceased to the family after postmortem. A case has been registered for investigation.
