JAMMU, Feb 17: Appreciating singing talent of young artists, State vice-president, BJP Yudhvir Sethi said that youngsters from the State are performing well in different music competitions and are making the State proud by their performances. He said the State has produced marvelous artists in past and watching budding singers one feels that performing art has bright future in the State.
“All those organisations who are working to promote art in the State deserve special appreciation and I personally congratulate them for serving the field of art,” he added.
Yudhvir Sethi was speaking at a Sangeet Sandya organised by Society for Environment Education at Abhinav Theatre, here. He was chief guest on the occasion.
Young singers from all across the region participated in the event and special focus was on the visually challenged artists who performed very well on the stage.
The winners of the event would be selected by the Mh1for national level program.
Yudhvir lauded the efforts of the organizers who had arranged the Sangeet Sandya and called for promoting young talent of the State. He appreciated the talent of visually challenged children and extended support to the cause of art in the State.
“We are proud of budding artists and all out efforts would be made to promote art and culture among the young generation,” he added
He also distributed trophies among the winners of the event.
