KATRA, July 6: A young pilgrim from Goa, died due to cardiac arrest while on way to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, here today.
The deceased, identified as Ajit Devalatakar (44), son of Gundu Devalatakar, resident of H.No 509/1, Silva Waddo, Near Erics Residence, Parra, Bardez, Goa-Panji, North Goa, Goa -403510, suddenly fell down near Thanda Nallah when he was on his way to Bhawan along with his friends. He was immediately shifted to dispensary Himkoti where doctors, after medical examination, declared him as brought dead.
Meanwhile, reports from Chassana in Reasi said that a middle aged man died after he fell in a deep gorge while grazing goats on a slope.
The deceased was identified as Ab Rashid (55), son of Ghulam Qadir of Tulli Chassana. He reportedly died on the spot.
