RAJOURI, Oct 27: Mystery shrouds the death of a 30-year-old man whose body was found lying near Abdullah bridge in Ward No. 7 of Rajouri town here this afternoon.
Identified as Imtiaz Khan, son of Sharief Khan, resident of Gursai in Mendhar, some people found the dead body with head-injuries lying near the old slaughter house, adjoining Abdullah bridge this afternoon and informed police. The man was believed to be murdered and dumped thereby the unknown killers.
Many people gathered at the spot after knowing about the matter. His identity could be established from an I-Card lying in his pocket. The deceased had been working in Saudi Arabia and returned in the recent past. The police party from Rajouri Thana shifted the body to hospital for postmortem and started investigation. The Medical Board will conduct the postmortem tomarrow.
