REASI, June 17: A young man attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Kheralair Pouni, here today.
Reports said that Balbir Singh (40), son of Onkar Singh of Kheralair Pouni, consumed some poisonous substance at his residence and fell unconscious. He was rushed to CHC Pouni where doctors shifted him to District Hospital Reasi. In view of his critical condition, the doctors further referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu.
Cause of provocation behind the suicide attempt could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
