UDHAMPUR, Aug 16: A young housewife was found hanging from fan hook at the house of her in-laws at Battal in Majalta.
According to the Police, Slochna Devi (24), wife of Janak Singh, resident of village Battal, was hanging from ceiling fan hook under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed by the family members, a Police party from Police Station Majalta rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to PHC Majalta for the postmortem.
Though at appeared to be a case of suicide, Police has registered the case for further investigation.
