UDHAMPUR, Sept 12: A newly married couple was injured when their car hit rear side of a stranded truck on the National Highway at Thurd.
The injured were identified as Imran Bhatti (24), son of Mehmood Bhatti resident of Gujjar Nagar Jammu and his wife, 18- year old Jagmeet. They have been admitted in GMC Hospital Jammu and their condition was stated to be stable.
According to the police reports, a Verna car bearing registration number JK02AE-0937 hit rear side of stranded truck JK03E-3570 at Thurd resulting into injuries to the couple travelling in the car.
Some local shopkeepers shifted the injured couple to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred them to GMC Hospital Jammu for advanced treatment.
