JAMMU, Mar 11: Janata Dal Secular (JDS) in its meeting held under the chairmanship of Mast Nath Yogi, its president has demanded CBI probe into the murder of eight year old girl in Rassana area of Hiranagar tehsil in January this year.
He also strongly condemned the lathi-charge by police on the demonstrators in Hiranagar tehsil and supported the demand for grant of district status to Nowshera tehsil.
He urged Government to supply five and ten kg bags of the ration to ration card holders in Jammu on regular basis and also supported the demand of release of Commission to ration dealers.
Others present in the meeting included S Kulbir Singh working president of JDS, Ranjay Balgotra , acting president, Ram Rattan Sharma and Bhagwati Saran senior vice presidents, Haji Abdul Rehman, and Makhan Lal Bhat vice presidents etc.
