JAMMU, May 9: A Yoga Session was organized this evening for CRPF personnel of J&K Zone at Group Centre CRPF Hiranagar at Nagrota.
SN Shrivastava, Special DG, J&K Zone, CRPF graced the occasion as chief guest and formally inaugurated the Yoga Session. Personnel of Group Centre Hiranagar, Range Headquarter Hiranagar, ZTC Nagrota, 160 Battalion and 166 Battalion CRPF participated in the Yoga Session.
The Yoga Session was conducted under the able supervision of Dr Amrit Raj, who is the fourth generation Ayurvedic doctor and certified Yoga teacher and remained personal trainer of ex-president, Dr Pratibha Patil.
Speaking on the occasion, SN Shrivastava, advised the cops to perform Yoga exercises regularly to get rid of stress as the Force is committed to maintain law and order in the Country. He further added that Yoga is very helpful for the troops to keep them physically and mentally fit.
Among the participants were AV Chauhan, IGP Jammu Sector, SLC Khup, DIGP, Range Hiranagar, PK Sharma, DIGP, J&K Zone and Rakesh Sethi, DIGP (OPS) Jammu North.
