YHLS organises literary meet

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Nov 10: Yuva Hindi Lekhak Sangh (YHLS) today organised a literary meet, which was presided over by Sanjeev Bhasin.
Dr O P Gupt commenced the meet by mentioning contributions of Rajendera Yadav and KP Saxena. Later the contemporary events and affairs of the literary field were discussed. In the second session, poets recited their poems.
Sheikh Mohammad Kalyan recited an untitled poem, which was well received and applauded by audience. Mr Bhasin remarked that this poem veritably portrays  the contemporary chaos of this world. Arvind Sharma then recited his poem ‘Sankalp’. Commenting on it, Dr Gupt said the poet uses the metaphors in real sense.
Dr Gupt then recited ‘Mangalyaan K Liye Taaliyan’. It was a satire on the ‘mysticist’ scientists and brought forth the concerns of the destitute too.
The YHLS decided to hold more such meetings to promote the poets and their poetry.
