YCET students selected during placement drive

JAMMU, Nov 21: Avi Softwares conducted pool placement drive at Government College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) in Jammu for the students of GCET, YCET, MIET, and University of Jammu.
Avi Softwares is product engineering, technology and consulting services provider that partners with organizations to achieve business and digital transformation for them. Leveraging its cross functional knowledge, deep sector expertise and wide-ranging specializations in fields including product engineering, digitization, hyper-automation, DevOps, cyber security and data science, the company’s mission is to fast-track innovation through each step of the value chain.
For Avi Softwares a total of 12 students of YCET were shortlisted for the first round. At the end of the grueling selection process, which included a pre-placement presentation, written test, technical interview, etc. Total eight students were selected among which two of them namely Divjot Singh and Moonis Aslam Wani were selected in training cum placement. These students will join with the final annual package of 4 lacks approx.
The program was conducted at the Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu. The students did practice a lot for the preparation of drives and the college has arranged many workshops for students on the latest topics.
Avinash Kumar- Director, Avi Softwares, Akanksha Mengi – HR, and Ishfaq Dar and Sibtain – Software Developer hailed the efforts put by the college in nurturing and exploring the young minds for a better tomorrow.

The placement drive was well coordinated by Dinesh Gupta, Head, Training and Placement Cell of YCET.
