Srinagar, Feb 26: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik said that he has conceded defeat to India when it strategized the recent Assembly elections in the state. “I agree Indian wisdom defeated us through their strategy in the recent elections. India defeated me intellectually,” Malik said in a press conference here today. He said that he believed that the separatists will get a second chance to emerge again before India, “but if India fails in Kashmir, it will not rise again.” “I as a freedom fighter will get a second chance to emerge again, but they (India) will never get the chance again to defeat us if they fail once,” he said. The JKLF chief also said that they will take to streets if the next PDP-BJP Government fiddles with the State Subject Act. Malik also alleged that PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is the main architect in eroding Article 370 more than anybody else in the State. “Mufti, who is today trying to make the Article 370 an Article of faith, damaged it most when he was a Minister in Sadiq’s dispensation,” Malik said, adding that his party was not bothered about the Article 370. “We are only concerned about the State Subject Act. We will sacrifice our blood on the streets of Kashmir if there is any alteration to the State Subject Act. We will fight with any force that fiddles with the Act,” he said.
