Yashpaul Nirmal gets Vidhya Sagar Upadhi

JAMMU, Dec 23: Dogri and Hindi Litterateur, cultural and language activist, Linguist, Journalist and Social worker Yash Paul Nirmal has received Vidhya Sagar Upadhi (Honorary Degree of D. Lit) from Vikramshila Hindi Vidhyapeeth Bhagalpur for his literary contributions in Dogri and Hindi Languages.
A handout stated that Yashpaul started his writings in 1994 and translated Shrimad-bhagwad Puran in Dogri in 1996. His major and popular books in Dogri are Anmol Jindagi, Bus Toon Gai Toon Aein, Lok Dhara, Dogri Vyakaran, Dogri Phonetic Reader, Ao Dogri Sikhchey, Mian Deedo, Dogri Vyakaran Te Samvad Koushal, Dogri Bhasha Te Vyakaran, Bharti Itehas Da Adhyayan Ik Parichay, Sudeesh Pachori Ne Akhya Ha, Wahge Ahli Lakeer, Shodh Te Parchol, Devi Pooja Vidhi Vidhan, Chhuttian etc.
His major and popular Hindi books are Ghari, Asli Varis, Pindi Darshan, Sahitya Manthan etc.
