NEW DELHI, May 1: Yamaha Motor India today reported 42.39 per cent increase in domestic two-wheeler sales at 51,158 units in April from 35,927 units in the same month of the previous year.
Commenting on the sales performance, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt Ltd Vice President (Sales & Marketing) Roy Kurian said: “This month indeed has been a good month for us as we were able to witness a brisk growth due to our product line-up and innovative customer centric activities.”
Alpha, launched at the Auto Expo this year, has been a fundamental growth factor for the company, he added.
“Additionally, with the launch of new color variants of FZ series last month, we were able to maintain consistency in our overall growth and the results projected the same,” he added. (PTI)
