JAMMU, Sept 25: Jammu Kashmir Government Pharma-cists Association celebrated “World Pharmacist Day” on the theme “Pharmacist-Caring for You”, under the chairmanship of its Working President Jarnail Choudhary, here today.
Dr Baljit Pathania, Director Health Services, Jammu and Sushil Sudan, General Secretary, All India State Government Pharmacist Association were the chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
During the seminar the pharmacists were stressed to devote themselves for the betterment of suffering humanity and observe strict norms while dealing with the medicines.
Dr Baljit Pathania, Director Health Services Jammu in his address urged the pharmacists to work with zeal for the welfare of society in general and sick and suffering people in particular.
Sushil Sudan while addressing the gathering assured them that their genuine demands will be got addressed from the concerned authorities.
The message of Union Health Minister was also read out.
Among others present were Kamaljeet Sawhney, Bharat Bhushan Bhagat, RP Singh, Shafkat Hussain, Yougal Bakshi, Manjeet Singh, Surinder Choudhary, Pawan Kumar, Vishiv Bhandu, Kulmeet Singh, Mela Singh, Dalip Kumar, Vishal Patil, Surjit Kumar, Bhadur Singh, Dheeraj Sharma, Kuldeep Dabgotra and Mahesh Sharma.
