RAJOURI, Feb 26: In continuity with the emphatic policy of Vice Chancellor Prof. Javed Musarrat to secure better career opportunities for the students of BGSBU, the MSME Development Institute in coordination with the University Training and Placement Cell, organised a one day workshop on “Support for Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development of SME’s through Incubators” under NMCP scheme of Govt. of India.
Dr. Sameer Raina, Training & Placement Officer, coordinated the programme while Malik Mubashir Head Department of Information Technology welcomed the guests and students.
Saheel Alaqband, Asst. Director, MSME was the key speaker and took the session and discussed about the start-up and incubation scheme. He also deliberated on the opportunities available in the state of J&K with regards to employment generation.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. A.K. Koul, Dean Academic Affairs laid emphases on the need of Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development of students.
All the final year students of B-Tech, MBA and BBA whole heartedly participated in the session and asked very searching questions to gain further knowledge towards the end of the session. In total 100-120 students participated in the event, which was attended by all the Deans, Head of the Departments and Teachers of the University and Abdul Jabar, Project Manager DIC Rajouri.
