RAJOURI, Apr 28: Launching special drive against people involved in illegal preparation of Desi liquor, the police destroyed a working still and seized illegally prepared liquor.
On a specific information, a team of police headed by in-charge Police Post Teryath, SI Habib-ul-Rehman under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera, Brijesh Sharma raided a house of one Om Prakash, son of Munshi Ram, resident of Sunderbani.
The police recovered 7 litres of illicit liquor and 20 kg of Lahaan from the spot. Lahan was destroyed on spot and illicit liquor seized. A case was registered in this connection.
