Work culture

Sir,
The work culture used to be quite satisfactory in then days gone by and which  now seems to be on ebb these days.  Work culture can’t be enforced or imposed but it is wilful. At present also, there are individuals working in different capacities who work very zealously keeping their conscience in view, for which they get rewarded sometimes but on the whole, it has been seen that the work culture is fading day by day mostly because of absence of accountability but such is not the case in private sector where the salary paid or to be paid depends on the workman’s discharge of duty to the entire satisfaction of employer or company. It is the deficit of the work culture that so many projects taken up by Govt mostly don’t get completed either because of non availability of funds or because of the lack of work culture in the workers. The Govt employees think that their salary is a legal right whether they discharge their duty or not. The work culture used to be in prominence in old days to such a big extent that once I got a detailed and satisfactory reply from AG when I requested the concerned department simply on a five paisa post card those days. So let those who are either in public or private sector develop work culture and look upon God Almighty as the biggest evaluator of their work done in order to make the world a prosperous and happy place to live in.
Yours etc…
