Women have master share in welfare schemes: Rekha

JAMMU, Oct 22: Jammu and Kashmir, BJP, secretary and Akhnoor district Prabhari, Rekha Mahajan, during her tour to border belt of Pargwal falling under
Chhamb Assembly Constituency, held a meeting with women of the area and shared details about various welfare schemes of Narendra Modi Government launched exclusively for them.
Rekha Mahajan told them that during the last seven years, the Union Government has launched a large number of welfare schemes for different sections of the society and the women have got master share, which reflects the concern of Union Government of BJP under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for the socio-economic upliftment of the womenfolk. The details related to such welfare schemes are available with Government departments as well as the party’s websites and portals and our local activists, who too are extending help to the poor and needy in availing the benefits of the same, she said.
Rekha said that construction of toilets for women, providing free cooking gas connections, repealing the practice of Tripple Talaq, restoration of rights to daughters of the soil on marrying outside J&K, are few such steps of Narendra Modi led Government which have benefitted a large population without any discrimination and our sisters in Jammu and Kashmir too are among the beneficiaries. Be it urban or rural area, every scheme has reached every area, she said.
The BJP secretary further asked them to make other women aware about Government schemes and they can also seek help from the BJP activists in case of any difficulty. She also advised them not to keep their daughters confined to four walls but motivate them to get education and achieve success in life.
Rekha was accompanied by District President Akhnoor, Jagdish Bhagat ,DDC Vice Chairman, Suraj Singh, BDC Chairman Nisha Bhagat, Anu Manhas, Mandal President Balinder Singh, District General Secretary G.S.Chib.
