JAMMU, Apr 29: J&K Women Development Corporation organized an awareness camp at Gorkha Basti near Kalka Colony, here today.
National Conference MLA Bimla Luthra, who was chief guest on the occasion, highlighted the role of Women’s Development Corporation in spreading awareness among the women folk to generate employment and give fillip to women empowerment. She stressed that the coalition Government headed by Omar Abdullah was committed for upliftment of women in Jammu and Kashmir.
Those who were present on the occasion, included Dr Naheed Soz (MD Women Development Corporation), Veena Oberai, Raj Kour, Ayub Malik and others.
