JAMMU, Apr 19: A woman and her son escaped miraculously after a car they were travelling in caught fire under suspicious circumstances in Sidhra area here today.
As per police sources, a car was on its way to Narwal when it caught fire under suspicious circumstances near Sidhra.
On seeing the flames, a man namely Shahbaz, son of Arshad Ahmed of Sidhra and his mother Rozy immediately de-boarded the vehicle and saved their lives.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire fighters along with tenders reached the spot and doused the flames, but till then the car got completely damaged in the fire.
Sidhra Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
