JAMMU, Oct 16: A woman slipped to death from a two-wheeler in Satwari area of city outskirts, today.
“A woman identified as Geeta Devi (35) wife of Bawa Ram, resident of village Fatehpur Salaria, RS Pura, died on the spot this afternoon after falling from a motorcycle at Karan Bagh in Satwari,” a police official here said, adding that the bike was being ridden by deceased’s husband.
He said that the body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after conducting post mortem, it was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites. “The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter”, the police official added.
