JAMMU, Oct 1: A lady was murdered and two of her relatives got serious injuries after being attacked by two unidentified persons over some old enmity in Supwal area of district Samba tonight.
As per police sources, two unidentified persons attacked a family in Supwal area of district Samba at 10.30 pm tonight with sharp edged weapons.
In the incident, three persons got injured and police rushed them to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where one of them was declared as brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Anita Devi (35), wife of Shiv Dayal, a resident of Supwal.
The injured identified as Atul Thappa (13), son of Shiv Dayal and his mother Shanti Devi (65) are undergoing treatment, when reports last came in.
Police has registered a case in this regard and investigation started.
Police was making efforts to identify the accused and nab them.
