UDHAMPUR, Apr 14: Panic gripped village Nagulta in block Chenani of district Udhampur after leopard attacked a woman and left her critically injured.
The victim, identified as Sbza Begum, wife of Shmshar Ali of Nagulta, was attacked by the leopard last evening when she was on way to home after grazing cattle from nearby forest. Before some villagers could come to her rescue, leopard critically injured the woman and fled towards the forests.
Later the victim was shifted to Sub District Hospital Chenani and her condition was stated to be stable.
