UDHAMPUR, Aug 12: A middle aged woman was mauled by a bear at village Chapper in tehsil Latti, here today.
The woman, namely Ratnoo Devi (45), wife of Girdhari Lal of village Chapper, was attacked by the wild bear in a forest area near her house. The seriously injured woman was rushed to Primary Health Center (PHC) Latti by the family members and her condition was stated to be stable.
Meanwhile, a motorcyclist was injured when a truck hit his bike on the National Highway near Tikri. The injured was identified as Vicky Kumar (19) son of Kaka Ram of Tikri.
