JAMMU, Jan 20: A woman today made an abortive bid on her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Jhiri area falling within the limits of police station Kanachak.
The woman was identified as Koushalaya Devi (50) wife of Mohinder Singh, a resident of Jhiri. The family members shifted her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where her condition was stated to be stable.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
