UDHAMPUR, Apr 3: A woman was looted of her ear-rings in broad day light at village Mang of Basantgarh area in Ramnagar tehsil.
As per sources, a youth identified as Om Parkash, resident of village Mang barged into the house of Darshan Kumar, son of Sansar Chand and beat the wife of the house owner.
The accused later snatched the ear-rings of the lady and escaped from the spot.
The victim reported the matter to Basantgarh police station and a case under Section 452, 382 and 323 RPC has been registered and investigation started.
