BHADERWAH, Apr 16: A woman was killed while her husband got injured when the Ecco Van they were travelling in rolled down into gorge near Chakrabhati area here.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK06A-2248 was on its way from Paranu to Chakrabhati, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down into gorge near Chakrabhati, resulting into on the spot death of a woman and injuries to her husband.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Associated Hospital GMC Doda, where he was responding to the treatment, when last reports came in.
The deceased was identified as Neelima Devi, wife of Ankush Kumar of Chakrabhati, while the injured was identified as Ankush Kumar, son of Ram Lal of Chakrabhati.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
