SAMBA Sept, 28: A woman was killed due to lightning at Raika Morh area of Sector Ramgarh in district Samba today.
According to the report, a woman died after lightning struck her at Raika Morh Sector Ramgarh in district Samba this afternoon. The woman was sitting outside her house, when suddenly she was struck by the lightning; as a result she received critical injuries.

She was immediately rushed to CHC Ramgarh for treatment where from doctor referred her to Accidental Hospital Vijaypur. But She succumbed to her injuries on way to Accidental Hospital and after reaching the Hospital the doctors declared her as brought dead. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of Community Health Centre, Ramgarh for autopsy.
The deceased was identified as Tamana, 21, wife of Ravi Kumar resident of Madhya Pradesh at present in Raika Morh Ramgarh.
The Ramgarh police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
