Srinagar, Oct 1: Police today said a lady was killed and three others were injured in different road incidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said an Innova vehicle bearing registration number JK05C-1349 hit and injure a lady namely Mehrun Nissa, who was a resident of Uttar Pradesh, at Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. “The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Tangmarg for treatment wherefrom she was referred to JVC Hospital Srinagar for further treatment. Later, the injured lady succumbed in hospital. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said an Army vehicle of 11 KAMOUN collided with a passenger Sumo bearing registration number PB22G6870 at Shumnag in Kralpora area of Kupwara district, resulting in injuries to two passengers namely Suhail Ahmad Wani and Ishfaq Manzoor Wani. “The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The police spokesman further said a vehicle bearing registration number JK01J-8229 hit and injure a school boy namely Junaid Ahmad Wani at Shopian district. “The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
