JAMMU, Jan 5: A woman hailing from district Jammu was kidnapped and gang-raped by four persons in Punjab.
As per police sources, a woman hailing from Nikki Tawi area of Belicharana in district Jammu was allegedly kidnapped and raped in Punjab by four persons identified as Farooq Ahmed of Kalyana, Mohammad Sadiq, Salman and Muradu, trio residents of Punjab.
The woman appeared before the court, which directed the Police Station Nowabad to register a case under relevant Sections.
Acting on the directions of the court, a case under FIR Number 3/2020 under Sections 366, 376 and 34 IPC has been registered at Nowabad Police Station and investigation started.
