SAMBA, Mar 11: A young housewife ended her as well as her three year old daughter’s life after jumping into a well at village Khara Madana in Purmandal area of Samba district today.
She has been identified as Sushma Devi 28, wife of Devinder Kumar of village Khara Madana. Her daughter was identified as Janvi.
Police said both mother daughter duo died after jumping into the well. The Purmandal Police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law and started investigation.
DySP, Purmandal Kuldeep Handa said that the woman was mentally disturb as was reported to police by her father.
