UDHAMPUR, May 16: A scooty rider and his pillion rider were injured when the two wheeler skidded off the road near Sailan Talab in Udhampur while a woman sustained burn injuries in lightning at Dudu.
A Scotty bearing registration number JK14D-5176, skidded off the road near Sailan Talab Udhampur. Locals took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur. The injured were identified as Ravi Kumar (44) son of S D Sharma of Sailan Talab Udhampur and Y.P Rana, son of Taj Rana of Ward number 9 Udhampur.
Meanwhile, a young woman was injured when lightning struck during thunder storm in remote Dudu area. .
The injured woman was identified as Kanta Devi (34) wife of Jog Raj of Dudu. She has been admitted to District Hospital Udhampur.
