RAMBAN, June 2: A woman sustained injuries after she was attacked by a leopard in Chattar Chinar area of Thore here today.
According to official sources, Sushma Devi, 40, wife of Mohan Lal, resident of Chattar Chinar, Thore, was attacked by the bear during the day, leaving her injured.
Following attack, locals of the area and family members shifted the injured lady to Community Health Centre Batote for treatment where her condition was stated to be stable.
Locals of the area have urged Wildlife Department to take necessary measures to avoid such attacks.
