JAMMU, Oct 9: A woman was injured as Pakistan violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in three Sectors of Poonch district this evening.
The 40-year-old woman Hamida Bi wife of Mohammad Din was injured in Qasba sector.
Pakistan army resorted to mortar shelling and heavy firing on the LoC in Shahpur, Qasba and Kirni sectors of Poonch district this evening.

The Indian Army retaliated effectively leading to heavy exchanges.
Injured woman has been hospitalized where her condition was stated to be stable.
Reports said two Pakistan army personnel were killed in retaliatory action by the Indian troops opposite Shahpur sector.
Meanwhile, Indian and Pakistani troops today also exchanged gunfire along Line of Control (LoC) in Nowgam sector of North Kashmir’s Handwara area.
An official said that Indo-Pak troops exchanged gunfire this morning, however, no loss of life or damage to property was reported.
